Hello and Welcome!

Looking for a new and exciting sport or hobby that you can do with your dog?

   Rip it Up! now has an indoor facility in Skowhegan located at 165 Water Street for Obedience lessons and an outdoor arena located at 29 Union Street, Skowhegan for Agility! All classes have been moved to the 165 Water St. location for the winter!

Private lessons by appointment only.

Mon-Friday 9am-2pm

Also  Monday and Friday evenings 6:15 and 7:15

 

 

Next Basic Obedience Class - Next Obedience class begins March 30th at 7:00pm! Class size is limited, Call or email today to reserve your spot.

Beginner's Agility Class - Next evening Beginner's Agility Class will start March 25th at 6:15.

Next Saturday Morning Agility class will begin April 3rd at 10am!

Agility Practice Night at Rip it Up!
165 Water St.  Every Wednesday night 6:15-8pm. Fee is $10. No preregistration is required. Come and go as you please. Agility Equipment will be set up and each handler will have 2 minutes to work their dog on the equipment. After 2 minutes it will be the next dog/handler team's turn, etc. The number of times you get to play depends on the number of participants. This practice is not meant for dogs who have never seen equipment. I will be there to supervise and give advice but teaching will still be done in a structured class.
Next beginner's agility class will start Saturday Feb 6th at 10am.
Remember I list storm cancellations on the Radio at 92.3 (92Moose) 106.5(CountryQ106.5) and on TV at WVII, WMTW and soon WABI (waiting for confirmation #). Structured classes I will always call at least an hour before class. Practice nights are open so please check here, or the above listings or their websites.

What I Do

Welcome, My name is Jennifer Tuck. I am a positive reinforcement trainer. I will teach you the skills necessary to train your dog. My Agility classes are modified from Clean Run's Agility Trainer  and The Hobday Way workbooks.  Clicker training is encouraged but not a requirement. My obedience classes are designed for good pet manners, not competition, although some of my students have gone on to compete.
