Rip it Up! now has an indoor facility in Skowhegan located at 165 Water Street for Obedience lessons and an outdoor arena located at 29 Union Street, Skowhegan for Agility!

Next Basic Obedience Class - Next Obedience class begins Sept 21st at 6:15pm. Class size is limited, Call or email today to reserve your spot.

Beginner's Agility Class - Private lessons available through September but unfortunately we are losing evening Daylight. Group Agility classes will resume at the center in November. Check back for up to date information.

CPE Games Explained.

September 4th 9am-noon

This seminar is for those planning to compete in a CPE trial. The CPE courses are Standard, Colors, Wildcard, Jackpot, Snooker, FullHouse, and Jumpers. Not only will these be discussed in strategy, but you will also be able to run each course! How to read course maps and scribe sheets will also be covered.

Please note: Participants will be asked to help with course and jump height changes when needed. Dogs should be CPE level 1 ready.

Handler moves Seminar

September 25th 10am-Noon

Located at 29 Union Street, Skowhegan, ME. 04976

This seminar is designed to help handlers better understand the 5 basic handler moves. Front Cross, Rear Cross, Reverse Flow Pivots, Post turns, and the Blind Cross. These moves are essential for competing with your dog.

To apply these moves we will practice Serpentines, Threadles, and 270’s. These are 3 jump sequences that challenge the handler’s ability to communicate with their dog. At almost every trial you will see these or a variation of these sequences. Learning to navigate these sequences successfully will result in a smoother run.

What I Do

Welcome, My name is Jennifer Tuck. I am a positive reinforcement trainer. I will teach you the skills necessary to train your dog. My obedience classes are designed for you to have a happy and well behaved family member that you can be proud of. My Agility classes were designed with influences from Clean Run and Hobdays workbooks. They not only teach your dog the obstacles, but i will also teach you how to handle your dog. Agility is a fun Team Sport! It is quite possibly the most fun you will ever have training your dog!
